# 15 Drive-Thru Zebra
Who decided Drive-Thru Zoos should be a thing again? Even just opening your car window is an invitation for giant animals to stick their head into your vehicle. Being 6 inches away from a zebra’s mouth is probably not the most pleasant experience for a kid who still has to sit in a kiddy chair.

Here’s just one more thing that could happen to you in a drive-thru zoo. Giant birds (you know some of the closest living ancestors to dinosaurs) could stick it’s huge beak into your car and traumatize your baby forever. But hey, if you’re going to give your kids’ weird bird-related trauma, might as well get a funny picture out of it.

There’s a reason you should listen to signs when they tell you not to feed the animals. It turns svelte little mammals into spheres. I’m assuming that’s not a healthy weight or shape for an animal like that, but it doesn’t necessarily look unhappy, either. How could you be when giants let food rain down from the sky every day?

This visitor was trying to take a scenic photo of the zebras when they decided to crash into each other at just the right (or wrong?) moment. Instead of getting a snapshot-worthy of being put into NatGeo they got this cartoonish freezeframe straight out of a Dreamworks movie about talking animals.

There’s something off about this Meerkat. It’s like he knows something that I don’t. I don’t like it. Also, he’s sitting like a human, and it’s very unsettling.

The original intent was probably about children embracing the wonders of nature or something like that. What it looks more like though is a bunch of kids ruining this tortoise’s life and climbing all up on him. Look at his eternally screaming face. A place in Argentina called the Lujan Zoo has set up an “extreme petting zoo” that allows the guests to get up close and personal with the animals which include tigers, lions, and bears, oh my. There’s a whole lot of controversy surrounding this Zoo but what’s most important here is that we got this photo of a bear licking a man in the face.
